I was pleased to see that all you needed to do to share an idea here was to "log in" using a google or aol or some such account, now that's the ticket. Your on to something - simplicity. You need more of it, government job boards and resume registering are so convoluted and difficult. College transcripts, GPAs for degrees earned over twenty years ago. You fill out and reply pages of inane data and where does it go? Down some black hole never be to be acknowledged or commented on. 1 out of 20 submissions might yield some cryptic B.S. that most likely does not even apply to your situation, as the reason your application and data were flushed out of consideration. So my suggestion is to develop ONE (1) application "online" form for all government agencies, and have IBM, Apple and Google design it "pro bono". No more faxing B.S. or using this department's or that department's job classification coding. Really you all less is more. It is hard enough being unemployed, and then you have to run this gauntlet of bureaucracy - crimony its just a shame, a real shame.
