During emergency situations, OPM at times issues delay/unscheduled leave. However, some components of my agency have flextime, meaning we can arrive at any time from 6-9:30am and leave 8 hours later. When delayed opening is issued, OPM has effectively canceled flextime and it has created traffic jams getting into work and leaving work. I suggest that OPM exempt from delayed opening those who have flextime.

Recommend OPM work with LRP Publications to remove the copyright requirements and make LRP products available to every Federal Employee and Manager.

There is a large number of retired VA workers. These former VA employees have the knowledge and skills to process claims for the verterans administration.
Can they be hired on as contractors working from home to assist in answering questions or inquiries via telephone or email?
The retired VA community can help a lot, most of us worked for 30 years or more d would love the opportunity to help in some way.
